Restraint Systems

All Stroud belts are 5-point harness. We offer two types of seat belts, depending on the type of release you prefer. They are Latch and Link and Kam Lock or quick release. Restraints include Door Restraints and SFI approved Shoulder Pads. Standard colors are red, black and blue. Custom colors are available for an additional $25.00 charge. All available colors are shown on the chart on this page. SFI mandates that belts be recertified every two years. Stroud does recertify their own belts.

When ordering Stroud belts please indicate the type of shoulder strap you prefer–individual style, "V" bolt, or dragster wrap. Another requirement we must have before we outfit you in your belts is the type of adjustment for lap belts–pull down, or pull up. Finally, we need to know how the belts will be attached to the car–wrap around, bolt-in, or snaps. Give us a call if you have any questions. Door Restraints
Stroud door restraints are designed to keep doors from being slammed against their tops when the wind catches them. Easy to both attach and remove, these restraints are a small, but important, addition to each race car.

Helmet Restraints
Stroud helmet restraints are designed to relieve the strain on a driver's neck under heavy G loads. Circle track racers loop restraint under arm. Drag racers attach to seat belts.

Arm Restraints
Stroud arm restraints are SFI approved. They are available in black and have 2" wide arm bands with 1" wide adjustable restrainer straps. To have the restraints installed in your fire suit at the time of purchase, choose Part #610 (an additional fee applies).
